When he returns from her funeral, his intercom rings and a man who looks like a yakuza member shows himself. The man claims to work for a financing company, and he informs Yoshihito that his wife owes them a large sum of money. Flustered by the amount, Yoshihito can’t afford to pay it back right away, and the yakuza member offers him a surprising proposal: “I’ll buy you.” From that day forward, this yakuza member frequently shows up on Yoshihito's doorstep to claim his body.
