All physical goods are shipped from our Taiwan warehouse using the Chunghwa Post service.
Physical goods are shipped and fulfilled by local postal providers and are not tracked or insured. Irodori Comics shall not be held liable for any delay, damage, theft, or loss of goods shipped using this method.
Packages shipped via Chunghwa Post EMS include tracking and insurance as part of the shipping cost.
*We currently do not distribute physical goods through private courier services (i.e. UPS, Fedex, DHL etc.).
**Standard Shipping or EMS services are subject to availability depending on your region.
Returns for physical goods shall only be accepted in cases where an incorrect item is shipped or there is a problem in the physical goods where we are at fault. Any other case that does not fall under this shall be dealt with on a case-to-case basis (see section on Damaged or Undelivered Goods). Furthermore, you must notify us within three (3) days upon receipt of the item if you will require a return.
All shipping costs for returns shall be borne by you unless proven that the item shipped to you was incorrect and due to store error.
In addition, please note the following exceptions to our return policy:
Items sold at a discount (i.e. on sale items, etc.) cannot be returned or exchanged.
We cannot provide returns for purchases made outside of Irodori Comics, such as from third-party vendors.
We do not offer exchanges for physical goods purchased.
All purchases are considered final and no refunds shall be accepted except in the following circumstances:
In the case of an incorrect order
In the case of multiple orders of the same item
Sudden cancellation of sale of the physical goods in question
All such instances as listed above shall be refunded in the form of store credit. In the case of multiple items, only the duplicate purchases shall be refunded in store credit. Furthermore, all such requests shall only be honored if the item has yet to be processed by our shipping partners. If your order has already been processed, regardless of reason, the request for refund shall be honored.
All pre-orders are paid in advance and in full. Pre-order items are shipped on the release date listed on the product description. Estimated delivery times will depend on the shipping service requested.
Cancellations and refunds for pre-ordered items must be requested no less than seven (7) days from the planned release date, beyond which all purchases are considered final. All refunds shall be offered in the form of store credit.
We reserve the right to change or delay the release date of any Physical Good at any time and for any reason.
We reserve the right to restrict your account from purchasing physical goods and cease offering such goods to you if you are found to repeatedly cancel and refund any pre-ordered physical goods.
Damaged or Undelivered Goods
Please be aware that we are not responsible for any damage incurred to the purchased item while in transit. Any and all claims for insurance compensation for goods purchased, if applicable, should be raised with the local mail carrier.
Items that have been damaged in transit requiring replacement shall be addressed on a case-to-case basis. You will be required to submit a filled damage report from your local delivery company including copies of any documentation and paperwork that accompanied your package. Pictures shall also be requested to help process your request. Eligibility for replacement shall be under the full discretion of Irodori Comics and any decision is deemed final.
You have three (3) days from the date of receipt of the item to submit a claim regarding damaged goods requiring replacement; otherwise, it is assumed that the purchased goods have been accepted and no further request for return will be entertained. You will be responsible for return shipping costs in the case of damaged items proved to be the fault of the shipper and requiring replacement.
We do not accept refunds for items lost in transit.
Customs, Duties and Taxes
The recipient of any Physical Goods purchase must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country. The recipient is responsible for understanding the regulations of the shipping address provided for an order. Physical Goods orders may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees. You agree that we are not held liable for these taxes, duties, or fees and that these charges are to be borne by the recipient. You are also aware of any possible restrictions on importation of adult-oriented goods into your country and the possibility of customs inspection of such goods.
You will be notified if items are returned to us due to factors such as non-acceptance, failure to pay duties or taxes (if applicable), or rejection of item at import due to local restrictions. Any subsequent shipping fees in order to send the physical goods shall be borne by you. In cases where the physical goods are unable to be delivered to you due to local restrictions, you may request for a refund in the form of store credit.
Our Physical Goods may at times be listed for sale on third-party vendor services. Please note, that purchases of our Physical Goods from third-party vendors do not grant you any promotional offers we may have included for the same item on our Store. Exclusive promotions, deals, bonus items, offers, or sales are restricted solely to the Irodori Comics Store unless otherwise stated.
If you have purchased one of our Physical Goods from a third-party vendor, they must be the one to offer you support for your purchase. You agree that we are not responsible for purchases of our Physical Goods through third-party vendors.
Due to local laws restricting the purchase and sale of uncensored printed doujinshi, we are unable to ship orders to any of the following countries: Albania, Australia, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, China, Democratic Republic of the Congo (Congo-Kinshasa), Cuba, Côte d’Ivoire, Iran, Iraq, Japan, Liberia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Myanmar (Burma), North Korea, Serbia, South Korea, Sudan, Syria, Zimbabwe.
*As a result of shipping restrictions due to the COVID19 pandemic, we are unfortunately unable to deliver to certain regions. If your country does not appear in the list of selectable countries for shipping, we will be unable to ship any goods to you until such restrictions are lifted.
Limitation of Liability
You understand that all items are shipped through local and international postal carrier services, and as such, Irodori Comics shall not be held liable for any delay, damage, theft, or loss for any goods shipped using untracked and/or uninsured shipping methods. Furthermore, compliance to local laws and restrictions for importation of adult-oriented goods shall be borne by you, and Irodori Comics shall not be held liable for physical goods shipped that violate such laws and restrictions.
